Mercedes-Maybach will grow its line-up with the impending release of the ultra-luxurious EQS SUV type. It’s the first moment the spy cameras have seen the Maybach EQS SUV in action, even though it has been tested previously. The German carmaker did, in fact, present a spectacular concept as a model teaser in September 2021.
The EQS SUV that’s been unveiled recently and is prepared for production may initially seem to be comparable to this SUV prototype. The Maybach EQS SUV Concept is the only vehicle with a unique front grille which is extended below the front numberplate while being camouflaged, yet it is evident that this vehicle has the same feature.
As the final product will have distinctive Maybach wheels, everything about this prototype appears to be substantially identical to the ordinary model. It is also devoid of any chrome window surrounds or Maybach emblems that could be seen.
Although spy photographers haven’t yet managed to capture any images of the interior, if it resembles the concept car’s cabin in any way, it should be significantly more opulent than the EQS SUV’s basic interior. The idea was revealed with two distinct rear seats, separated by a flowing centre console, as opposed to the second-three row seats found in the conventional vehicle. Intricate lighting effects and numerous dazzling rose gold surfaces were also used to decorate the Maybach EQS SUV Concept.
The EQS SUV’s base powertrain options and those for the Maybach model might overlap. The EQS 580 4Matic’s dual-motor, all-wheel-drive system, which generates a combined 536 horsepower and 633 lb-ft (850 Nm) of torque, may be present in this vehicle.
